MA candidate

Educational Background

  • 2017 BA in Archaeology, Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade
  • 2016 Ceramics conservation course at Central institute of conservation

Research Interests

My research interest are mainly oriented towards exploration of Roman period archaeology, using archaeozoology. In the focus of my interests I adress issues such as economy of settlements of different size and function, metods of cultivation and industrial processing of domestic animals, as well as the relations between people and animals – mainly pets, such as dogs. This aproach involves combination of data gained through animal bone analysis, written sources and other forms of material culture, in order to better understand the wider contexts. I am also interested in application of physico - chemical analysis as an aid for better understanding life in the past.
