The researchers of our lab Ivana Živaljević, Camille de Becdelièvre and Jelena Jovanović participated in the XVII World UISPP (Union Internationale des Sciences Préhistoriques et Protohistoriques) Congress, which took place in Burgos, Spain (01-07. September 2014).

They have participated in the session Aquatic resource consumption by prehistoric humans, centred on various methods of detection aquatic resource consumption in the archaeological record. Our researchers, jointly with Dr Gwenaëlle Goude (Laboratoire Méditerranéen de Préhistoire Europe Afrique,CNRS), have presented a paper on Fishing in the Mesolithic-Neolithic Danube Gorges: archaeological, archaeozoological and isotopic evidence, which sought to integrate and present new and existing data on this important activity in the Mesolithic-Neolithic Danube Gorges.
